Rhinoplasty
I have finally had my op! After years of thinking about it, the day arrived. I was admitted at 12 with my surgery to go ahead at 2. Everyone has been so lovely, patient and informative. My surgeon Mr Tadros, came through to see me before the surgery to take some pictures and run through the procedure to make sure we were both happy. After signing consent forms, i popped on my lovely backless gown and paper pants and waited to be wheeled through. The first and only stop i remember was the anaethtist room. Mr Johnson i think was his name was fantastic and instantly put me at ease. They popped a needle into my hand, i felt very fuzzy and then a sensation and the next thing I know I am being woken up and the surgery has happened! From the outset and throughout Amir Tadros, and his lovely Secretary Helen Dow have been fantastic. They are always available to answer any queries I have, and to chat about my pre & post op progress. Having this operation was a big change for me and Helen has been absolutely fantastic, she has been so reassuring throughout everything - the only complaint I would have is it would have been nice to meet her! Amir's qualifications / experience had me at 'hello'. Being one of around only 4 BAAPS registered surgeons in the UK I was instantly drawn. The fact he specialises in breast & hand reconstruction also had my attention as attention to detail is paramount in such areas, I just had a great feeling about him and I couldnt have been more right. Mr Tadros also works as a surgeon for the NHS and can be operating on all parts of the body, including the face - which as you will all agree requires great skill, efficiency and amazing confidence and attention to detail. I had no doubts he would be fantastic. He has completely exceeded my expectations when I seen my results. I found it completely amazing that he turned my FLAT barely A cup, in to a full, round, and perfect C/D cup - I could not be happier! Breast Implant Removal
Mr Tadros has been lovely at my 2 appointments so far, told me my options, discussed proceedure and did not push when I didn't want replacement implants or a lift. His P.A. After puberty, I maybe just filled a 34b cup which was ok as I have a small frame anyway, although i was still always very conscious and hid them away! But after having my 2 beautiful children who I breastfed until they were both 1 years old my 34b had diminished to an A cup,so when I breast fed I felt more like a woman than I ever had done in my life as I went up to a 34DD cup....wowzers!!! It felt great, it was almost as if someone had given me a boob job and then taken it away again! However, it left me with even less than i had before. So after a lot of thought, consideration, tears and rejection I decided to turn my life around and take the plunge to make myself a more confident happy person, for myself most importantly but also for my kids, because a happy mum equals happy children :) I did a lot of research on a lot of different private hospitals and surgeons and I must say that Mr Amir Tadros stood out a mile away, with all his experience in a wide range of different kinds of plastic surgery, awards and certificates he was sold to me straight away! Next was to book the consultation. It went well and I felt very comfortable with him. He explained everything and answered any questions I had for him, even though i went away and forgot to ask him most of them! His personal secretary Helen was always at the end of a phone or email to help me with any questions or concerns I had, and I just want to say what a lovely lady she is, even though I have never met her she has made the experience all the better for me. She is so helpful and always checking in before and after every appointment just to make sure everything went ok and to ask if i had any concerns or questions I may have forgot to ask.
