Mr Amir Tadros
Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgeon Having initially qualified from King's College, London, Mr Tadros has trained since 1998 in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at some of the world's most renowned Plastic Surgery Institutions such as St Thomas' Hospital, London and the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit. He achieved Consultant Status in 2011. He has further enhanced his aesthetic surgery training in Dallas and Athens.
Mr Tadros has been awarded a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery (FRCS (plast)). He has dual membership of BAPRAS and BAAPS and holds a diploma in hand surgery. He is the founder and director of the International Aberdeen Flap Course aimed at training plastic surgeons in cutting-edge reconstructive techniques. He is the co-founder and faculty member of the Aberdeen Hand Trauma Course , aimed at training Plastic and Orthopaedic Surgeons in Hand Surgery. Mr Tadros has been working as clinical director for Plastic Surgery at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, specialising in Children's and Adult's Hand Surgery, Breast Reconstruction, Skin Cancers and Facial Reconstruction. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen Medical School. He currently practices at the Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen, London Bridge Hospital with clinics at the Shard, Ross Hall hospital in Glasgow and King's Park Hospital in Stirling.
